If you're an ace at JA2, wildfire might be entertaining. Instead of gradually working up to the endgame difficulty of JA2, Wildfire drops you into the very first sector against guys who could go toe-to-toe with top of the line mercs. Wildfire was absolutely brutal to play through. When I'm playing Jagged alliance, its just frustrating and annoying.Īs for wildfire, I only tried it briefly before going back to the original game. If I was playing Xcom, that would be cool. ![]() Sci-fi is like playing the normal game except that halfway through, alien bugs come out of goddamned nowhere eat your miners. They add absolutely nothing to the game and just make the last fights an endless game of save/reload. ![]() The automatic rocket rifles are bad enough - they're almost guaranteed one hit kills unless you interrupt the baddies and drop 'em before they fire. The reason people go with realistic over sci-fi is that the sci-fi elements of JA really mess with what makes the game so cool. ![]()
